Makani Kai Practice Race

Steve and Josh braved sailing in the race double handed. I must say that they did very well considering, 5th place out of 7. With a tired main sail and no self tailing winches 5th is good. Great job boys!

First Race

Proud to be Miki'oi! We participated in Kaneohe Yacht Club's happy hour race on Thursday, March 20th and came in 3rd place in the scratch division. Our name even got listed in the sports section of the advertiser. Although very small it means a lot. Of course we had an expert tactician helping with strategy, thank you David! David laughed at the age of the Main Sail but we still held our own. We only lost 2nd place by seconds. I am proud of Miki’oi, I know when she gets her new Main people will be afraid. For a 37 year old lady she is still hot, hot, hot.
